Kimchi Challenge

Couple of days ago I came home from a trip to Poland, I met a wonderful new friend, Dorota. We had a great time chatting it up about Poland, Korea and Kimchi, she asked if I made any myself, and not to her surprise I replied no. She met many wonderful people in Korea while doing a residency in Korea and has fallen in love with my culture. Needless to say I was a bit embarrassed by the fact that this Polish women knew how to make Kimchi, so once I got home all I could think about was Kimchi. While googling KimChi I found a blog that goes by the name Maangchi, a cute little Korean lady that blog about Korean culture, life, but mostly focuses on Traditional Korean recipes.

With the jet lag I gained hours to start my mission, the entire recipe took me 2-3 hours including prep and clean up. I’m not sure when my next batch will be I have plenty to share – no really I don’t know what to do with all these jars/Tupperware.
